Note: I just went back to the Slithrine page to try it again and this time I noticed the small print at the bottom of the page. It said:
"Please note, you can only register Slitherine/Matrix Games titles that came with a serial number. Older releases that did not come with a serial number can not be registered at this time."
So - I guess this is the exact opposite of rewarding long standing customers. I bought Battle of Normandy when it first came out so my reward is that I have to purchase it again if I want to get it on Steam.
You have to wait for the game to be released officialy before claiming the game via Matrix store page....the game will be released within today. Then you will have to register the game on Matrix store and claim the Steam key.
Sounds like you bought CMBN v1 which used a different licensing system. Over at the help desk the have a way to fix it. Open a ticket here: https://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/
Their support is actually quite good so before you give up on them let them have a chance.
I have just redeemed my copy using the CMBN Update 3 serial. I read on the ticket service of Battlefront that this was requested to activate it. Ask directly to the TICKET SYSTEM as reported by "A Canadian Cat" to solve the problem.
As always...if you already bought an item, Battlefront will not screw you. They are a good company.
