I'm not getting great performance sadly, usually 30-33 fps with everything set to low. The frame rate drops to around 25 during combat. That said I don't think the game is optimized well. I'm seeing frame drops during combat on my desktop PC with a 3080 TI. I'm hoping there will be a patch to address oms of the performance issues.

Me too- I hope it sends a message. Will consider buying again if the performance improves. Disappointed I'm going to lose my preorder DLC, though.

Yep, poor performance here as well on Steam. I'm even getting a freeze bug during a mission where I have to break through some walls and as soon as I approach the target walls, I can't do anything. Not very optimized. I lowered the setting everywhere except for the textures and I didn't see any changes in performances. Running with a NVidia GTX 1070. I usually can play Diablo II Ressurected with all the setting at maximum without any problems. Ouais, ben les performances sont pas terrible sur Steam. Le jeu gèle parfois durant une mission ou je dois traverser des murs de pierres. Dès que j'approche du mur cible, je ne peux rien faire. Pas bien optimisé. J'ai changé les options au plus bas sauf pour les textures et je n'ai vu aucun changements. Ma carte vidéo est une NVidia GTX 1070. Je peux jouer Diablo 2 Ressurected avec tous les setting au maximum sans problèmes d'habitude.

same here and I can't get passed the canyons mission as it keeps seizing up on me so hopefully they address these issues. This sort of game would be perfect for the Deck.

Niente, su Steam Deck non va proprio, framerate bassissimo, errori nei menù e si blocca alla rpima missione con goldrake che cammina rimanendo fermo sul posto.....peccato...

Gave it a shot this morning, I want to say there is a little bit of improvement but it's still not good. and every time I use the Cornofulgure attack, the game freezes and I need to reboot.

I'm using Proton 5.13-6 and it is much better so far.

I just finished the game with Proton 5.13-6 (as mentioned above) on the Steam Deck. There were very rare framerate drops (when punching rocks for example) : 40 FPS average otherwise. Very enjoyable experience, but with low settings (and high textures and medium clouds).

see that's weird, 5.13-6 wouldn't even allow the game to start for me, had to run the latest Proton 8 version.

Everything set to low and locked at 30 fps made for a meh experience.

Tried again yesterday December 20th. After a few updates of the Steam client, very little progress on the frame rate improvement. It still freezes up badly when I try to punch through the rocks of the water contamination mission. I am able to get some progress in the mission by smashing through the rock faces, but I have to fight the freezing by trying to move away from the rocks then heading back towards the goal frenetically hitting the punch button hoping to land some punches on the target. I sometimes succeed partially and I have to repeat the maneuver of heading away and re-engaging the target to finally get a very glitching result that is so frustrating that it makes the game worthless. Asking for a refund.
