Please be more responsive to the community and keep use updated on bug fixes and updates. Someone on PR needs to make a statement soon to maintain some good will. I want to play this game. I want to cover it.
Duke Fried "Duke FREED", assuming it is from the German family name, meaning "Peace"
Sorry for nitpicking, it seems like a great game! Incredible to see 70's robots returning
It's always been Fleed, and just sounded like "Fried" in a Japanese accent.
It's always been Fleed. Japanese just don't have an L sound so it comes out as an R. "Freed" is just fan localization.
Technically speaking it's neither, it's a "middle ground" sound so to speak, despite romaji portraying the R (ra ri ru re ro).
Funnily enough I've spoken with a few japanese people and some of them leaned more on the L sound (albeit this could be caused by the words used in the first place).
when i was i child it is perfectly normal to hear other my language dub but now it feels very weird when i watch japanese show without japanese dub even if the character is a foreigner
damn those japanese show
