This is a good example of why you can't always trust positive reviews. This game is literally pay to win in every way possible. Every action you do uses up stamina. You generally start with 100 stamina. Every time you chop wood or mine for mineral for instance, it might use up 3-5 stamina points and it usually takes 3-4 swings per node to gather resources. This means, that after gather from 4-5 nodes, your stamina gets used up. Then you either have to pay for more stamina or wait until it gets refilled again. The same goes for crafting and fighting enemies. If you craft a weapon you can use up about 30 stamina. These weapons have durability and they actually break very quickly as well. So if you decide to repair the weapon, guess what, you will use up stamina. When you fight enemies, every swing you do with your sword uses up stamina. IF you run out of stamina you can't fight, so imagine running out of stamina in the middle of a boss fight, which does happen. In short, you can generally play between 10 - 15 minutes before your stamina runs out.

Fun Game. Wish there was a lil more to do (without paying for it) but otherwise fun game

The game is fun, and entertaining. But like most free games it starts out fast then slows down considerably as you progress. But you could buy supplies and stamina to keep going. Its a good time killer, but if you binge games and try to go "no life" on it. You'll burn out fast.

Master Tarquinius must be saved!

Nice game, obviously a mobile port, but it's nice to be able to play on PC. The system requirements are naturally very low. I like how it's surprisingly authentic to its Ancient Roman setting. The graphics could use some improvement after being ported to PC but the music and sounds are all good. Although the sound seems to lag sometimes, especially in fights - the hit sound is slower than the hit itself. Also would like to be able to play fully on keyboard, i.e. being able to pick up items and forward the dialogue without using the mouse. Overall, a recommend since it's a free game.

it's a great game that i see myself playing for a while. I had played it on mobile and loved it. I think the pc unlocks the full potential of the game however as everything looks bigger and nicer! steam needs more games like this so i do not have to use mobile for gaming lol
