Yeah, like everyone else I was skeptical, but after playing for several hours....this game is legit.
If you explore all the game has at this point, you will definitely get your money's worth considering the price.
I haven't even touched a number of systems at all, and I already feel I have gotten my money's worth.
This isn't a scam. It is a solid indie MMO.

its still early access with a solid potential i want a lot of more from it and i want it just now.

as long as they rush updates and not an inconplete release too soon.

some details are even now stunning some walking sound need improvement as you cant fight mounted.

al we need is more patience and maybe more costumes as soon as gloves and boots could become interchangable as within BDO would become a win win scenatio for all,

i hope yes they can maybe AI&KI can also provide more positive surprises in the future than clueless misguided devs from other mmo.

Just no....absolutely no.

Game is so jank its beyond insane. Want valid points? sure read below.

1. Cities/towns are copy pasted- terrible, boring same layout.
2. Mobs are static, you just run them around in a blob and then aoe down.
3. The map LITERALLY starts with Low lvl mobs on the left and then goes up as you go
right...LOL??? east to west mob difficulty? wow..just wow.
4. Dungeons are annoying at best, ring a bell?? kill 185 mobs??? LOL
5. NOBODY shows up for the stupid arena's and pvp. cuz they are SO BAD.
6. The weapon talents have no rhyme or reason. You just go down the list and then unlock.
7. Friends list? broken and dont get me started on the IM pop up message boxes.
8. Tons and tons of TRASH loot so you can buy INV space! yup.

Need I go on? This is so bad its was literally built by an AI program. I mean if you are having fun with it great, but I put in over 20 hours trying to get my money/value...its TERRIBLE.

Lot of these things you mention would come from a polished game. This is an early access game. I expect majority of this to get much better.
The one thing I hate as a an old time crafter from days like UO and SWG is having to buy crap from a vendor to make something. HP potions as an example, 1k for a bottle to make 1 potion is garbage. But its not a bad game for 20 dollars. I have seen much much worse here on steam this past decade.

It's not that I don't have gripes or don't see areas that need improvement, it's that what I got for 20 is definitely worth it.
Like, they need MUCH better combat sound effects. They are kind ass right now.
Also, I do agree that the skill system needs some work, but that is already noted in the road map.
My main point with this post is for those on the fence or worried about this being a scam.
If that is what is holding you back, then i say go for it as you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

Wont be 100%. You can look at the track record of this company and this game is 100% an AI software copy paste engine build. Sorry, I too lost $20 bucks but lesson learned. These so called "EA" games are nothing more than 90% cash grabs now. Learning lessons the hardway.

Actual players dont care if it is AI software copypaste or not. I think that kind of comments are coming from other developers. If it is that easy to make this game then why nobody is doing it. I want housing, gathering, central market, i like to ring the bells in dungeon, because i dont want gold makers to go to the end of the dungeon and kill the boss. You have to work for it and i hope they dont ever get rid of that bells. Of course it is not ok for the younger playerbase. If you want everything to be quick then you have to play lol, counter strike kind of games. And it is an EA game and it is cheap. Mobile generation people are used to playing free games.

Considering games is in EA im having fun in the game ofc theres a lot of improvement needed story quests was kinda lame its random do that do this repeating quests. what i like about the game that you can do all life skills on one char without limitation but I was always a simp when it comes to life skills.
weapon system is kinda ok but needs improvement its very basic now.
what annoyed me the most was combat i really hope they improve it.
atm game has a lot of systems at the very basic level but i hope devs will improve them over time by adding more in depth mechanics to them.
Also a minimap in dungeons would be nice.
Oh and almost forgot make Esc button work and inventory auto arrange thats a must in an mmorpg.

There IS an inventory ordering button in Quinfall. In it, you can choose by what criterion to order items in the inventory (by type, by weight, etc.)
