Taskbar buttons not skinning in 24H2
I recently obtained WindowBlinds, and while it works mostly on Windows 11 24H2, it is not skinning the buttons on the Taskbar. Is this an issue that Stardock plans on fixing?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But from what I know for taskbar buttons need to be skin, you will need to have Start11 installed and enhance taskbar turn on. Please refer to Dev input from this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/531530/get;3947935

Thank you.

Thanks, didn't realize I had to configure Start11 to skin the buttons.

To be honest I said 24H2 because I had double-checked using a Windows 11 24H2 VM, as my main PC is running on Insider Preview. Fixed it there too.

By the way, has anyone reported Google Chrome having its GPU process crash and fall back to software mode?

Do know that Google Chrome or any other Chromium base browser no longer skin properly by Windowblinds ever since Chromium introduce new GUI engine. So, this might be the reasons of your issue. Just turn off "Allow WindowBlinds Chrome/Edge" option and restart your system.

I already have an exemption for chrome.exe and that option disabled. What happens is when I try to play a video the browser blinks several times then it falls back to software. The issue seems to persist even after unloading WindowBlinds, until I reboot my PC entirely.

My current system is Windows Insider Preview build 27729, with NVIDIA driver 566.03. RTX HDR is enabled.

It might be the issue on Insider preview system. However to be sure, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
