Just under 20 hours played... here's what I think......
I really like the simplicity of the game! I play all sorts of survival games and sometimes they are over the top with details and content.

Crestfallen is a nice smooth ride, especially if you're into building and peaceful gameplay. You don't have to eat and drink every 10 mins, your stamina doesn't deplete while running away from mobs. The day cycle is plenty long to explore and mine for ores to smelt and sell for a good profit. You also get experience crystals, when you mine.. in addition to the valuable ore. The combat system is fleshed out enough where you can time your attacks and not take damage from enemies. I enjoyed grinding my character and learning the fighting patterns. The safe zone is a nice touch to kite enemies early game.

Just a few points I noticed so far:

I cannot go into first person, is it available?

Sometimes by crossbow won't reload or fire.

im level 1 in intelligence now and can cast lvl 1 spells, but I am unable to cast any.

Are horses and mounts in game? I haven't been able to find any.

I know it's still very early in development, I would hope to see more POI spread around the barren areas. This is a common complaint I have with these types of games. ex. icarus, valhiem, belwright, etc.

I haven't seen a wiki for new players to refer to. It's been difficult finding some answers to questions, outside of discussions. Id be willing to help if needed.

closing out, I am eager to see the additions to this game in the future! excellent job with this title.. I will spread the news to those who I think will enjoy this style game. Kudos to Burkheart for being very responsive to these discussions and concerns.

Re casting spells: I think at lvl 1 intelligence you get 10 mana. All spells cost more than that, so you'll want to sink more points into intelligence and/or put a point into faith.
