single player extremely laggy

so for about 3 or 4 days now i literally cannot play the game because the lag is so bad in single player. i keep logging into my saved game each day sort of hoping that i can play but i am about to give up. anybody have any idea what is going on or when there might be a fix?

i had the same issue since the last update (with a game a started before the update). I started a new game and everything is fine now.

i guess maybe the early access of this particular game might just not be for me. i know some games have wipes etc, but this game seems to have a lot of wipes, restarts necessary etc. if it had been like a free download i could understand - but i think i paid 15-20 bucks for it, and when i pay that much for an early access game it usually means the game is very close to being done. meh . . . i dunno.

I've had the same problem since this evening, August 22nd, 2024. I finished the game two hours ago and when I tried to go back in, 1 fps per second... I hope the error can be found.
(SP) Processor I7 7700K Graphics card rtx 4060ti (drivers are up to date) ;)
Before that, everything worked without a problem for 20 hours. There was no update for the game in those 20 hours.

It is my understanding that a new build will be pushed to the Test server soon and after QA checks, it's our hope that a resolution is close.

each time you are laggy, that mean that you don t have the new version of the game. So the only thing to do, it's to start a new game and then it will be all right.

I only started playing after this update "Echoes of the Forge: New Weapons, Bloodier Battles, and Many Fixes".
After that, there were no more updates...😉​

i play single player, so i have to start from scratch? i have alot of stuff i.e. plate armor, good wpns, alot of steel ingots......a castle.....

With this latest update, in addition to several new items and a new area for players to explore, there were a number of updates to the game and the servers themselves.
