Library Level Reset After Completion

I finished the Library section and passed through the fireplace to a new section, ended the game there due to time constraint, restarted and not one puzzle was solved. I have to do the entire room again. What gives? I despise checkpoint saves.

Yeah there's no saving inside one of the rooms. You finish them one-by-one.

For the love of working folks, please add a save function. I cant keep this game running until I finish a full room, this is insane!

I wish I had seen this discussion last night. I did the exact same thing. I needed to go to bed, it was 2am, so I got through the fireplace and stopped and today, it's all reset as if i didn't do anything. I honestly am considering uninstalling. That is such a pain. :(
