Code 5 (in the first image) is supposed to correspond to the combination shown in the second image. But, how is that leftmost rune supposed to work out?

In the inventory screen, the left rune looks like a horizontal line with some triangular curve below it, but in the actual game, it looks more like a 3.

Keep in in mind the original game was pretty pixelated and the high res assets are approximations. That said - there are 8 total symbols and no other symbol that look like a 3. most people have an issue with the middle pyramid looking symbol because they do not notice that the right side is cut off.

If you have the 1st 2 digits right, focus on the 3rd one if you hear a clicking sound. Most of the time it will open what's required...

i didnt even check my inventory i just pressed the buttons randomly until the door opened
