But I think they will skip Jedi Knight to go directly for Outcast, because it was released on console, so lot of players have memories of this game and Academy. Also the multiplayer is way better than Jedi Knight . Most PC Lucasart exclusive of the 90's will not get a remaster, but hope I am wrong. Still, I don't have lot hope.
To play it on modern hardware without having to fiddle with anything would be quite wonderful.
When Dark forces II came out in 97 it was pushing new boundaries like for example the size of the levels in fps games.
Some of the levels in DFII are honestly still to this very day extremely big. And the scope of it all was awesome to say the least.
I think DFII became overlooked because we had so many titles launched those few years 97-99.
A remaster of that and its expansion is a no brainer.
