What this is is what happens when you are on welfare, you realize that you have the same welfare burger as everyone else so you gotta spice it up with something fake. That something comes in the form of an otherwise lost and obscure video game. Then some company comes along and remasters it which causes it to be re-released on steam. Then you see snowflakes like this desperately trying to get people not to play it.

Best example where we did this already is Earthbound, when it was re-released on the wii virtual console in 2013, there was an entire campaign by earthbound fan sites to try to protest and get the game taken off the store so that "normies didn't ruin their secret club" or whatever despite them not having played the game in 20 years.

Fortunately I'm not on welfare, I have pretty good credit and make enough money to responsibly pay rent and afford food every week, on top of pretty good video games on sale.

Not that welfare's a bad thing though for the families that need it. Great thing about older games is they're pretty cheap so people still have options regardless, like Dark Forces for $6.
