Will buy without thinking at 9,99 € / $
But not if it's that expensive.
Lots of very good games just frizzle out because they're way beyond "no brainer" prices and you often see them a year down the line going for something sad like $4,99, devs long gone etc.
It's especially bad on consoles, some of those titles surely never moved more than a few units in most regions given their prices.
If nightdive is using AI to release 40$ remasters then they can die out and nothing of value will be lost. It was fun while it lasted but the greed took over it seems
I always felt Star Wars interactive products especially shouldn't be expensive boutique items and more globally affordable mass market focused. You want to expose as many people as possible not gouge like five thousand people and call it a day... That's my take anyway.
Will swing back around when it's less than $5.
I know this is running in a different engine, the cut-scenes have been reworked, and work has gone into this, but, jeez, not £25 worth of work. I agree with others: such a high price will leave a bad taste with a number of people, and may overall hurt this release. Nevermind.
Quake I, Quake II, Blood and Shadow Warrior remasters are $10; Doom and Half Life remasters are less than $10
I was hyped up for it but this pricing is a huge joke, this game absolutely dont worth more than $10
I just don't understand how you explain that to investors with a straight face.
It's like someone who is very highly paid from Disney set the prices in all regions over a glass of Merlot, who's never played or bought games in their life.
It's increased pricing because of the stupid digital entertainment Tax.
Which is hilarious in its self because Canada right now is trying to clamp down hard on drip pricing yet their very own tax system is the biggest culprit.
