Is this worth 30$?

I don't mind the price tag but I don't really see a reason to get this when I already have the original version with the Force Engine. Except for the remastered cut scenes and improved visuals, does it add anything worthwhile? Stuff like more clarity in terms of missions or extra content?

Keep in mind that I'm playing with a 60hz 1080 monitor so 120 FPS and 4K isn't a real selling point for me.

I don't want to discredit Nightdive, but I don't think it is worth 30 Dollars/Euros.

First impression is a bit...mixed.
The game itself runs and looks good so far, but there seems to be some major issues with the iMuse (Music) system.
Less relevant, but any localisation other than English seems to be god awful as well.
Which is a shame, i'm nostalgic for our German voices, but thext is full of typos and translated blatantly wrong in parts.

So if you're not dying to play it, give it a couple of weeks, it seems to need some more work here and there.

No Remastered ever was worth 30 Dollars, especially not a low Effort Remastered like this

if you already own the game i would recommend just playing it using the force engine
since Its a free source port

Was coming on this thread exactly for that question: what's the difference between this (at 30$) and the ForceEngine mod (free) ? The only difference I see, are the cinematics and, if you're REALLY into achivements (I'm not), there's Steam achievements.

Convenience is also a major factor. Most people don't want to fiddle with source ports (IF they know what that is). You get other steam benefits like cloud saves, steam deck compatibility etc.

they did add some bonus content such as a prototype level, concept art, cut cinematic, etc. Nothing major though

No its not worth, wait for sale.
In case of Turok 3 i understood price increase: game was previously unavaiable on PC, code was kinda lost etc. Here? None of that. Game was and still is playable eg. via source ports on PC without much problems, with modern resolutions, mouselook and such. I will not call this remaster "lazy" by any means, but overpriced.
