flash got discontinued years ago, this is probably an enhanced port of the mobile version or rebuilt from the ground up. not the devs' fault mac is stupidly picky about what kind of software it will run tbh (i feel your pain tho i used to only have a macbook and it was so annoying how many games that weren't super resource demanding just didn't have a mac version)
there's nothing on flipline's blog announcing a mac version but it could happen if it's not too difficult for them to do (but i'm not a game developer so i have no idea).
I will warn you (from personal experience) that the performance is less than ideal - you can only approach normal speed on the lowest settings, and the audio will be choppy no matter what, so do with that what you will. Alternatively, you could create a Wineskin solely for the executable, but the folder can be difficult to find, and it improves performance only a bit on medium graphics.
TLDR: You can play Papa's Freezeria Deluxe on Mac, it just takes a lot of setup, and the performance may not be worth it for some.
