Is it possible to edit the contents of a save file in the game files?

I just like messing with things in game files, in this case, things like tips or something. Is that possible? If not, will it be possible to buy tips?

Yes, but where is the fun in that?

Open "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\com.flipline.papasfreezeriadeluxe\Local Store\#SharedObjects"

You'll see a bunch of .sol files in that folder.
papasfreezeriadeluxe1.sol is Save 1,
papasfreezeriadeluxe2.sol is Save 2,
papasfreezeriadeluxe3.sol is Save 3

Open whichever save file you want to edit on https://www.saveeditonline.com/
For tips, go to the 2nd page and scroll down till you find `tips` followed by the amount you currently have. Click on it to change the value and downloaded the modified .sol file. Replace it in the #SharedObjects folder and then launch the game to see the change reflect.

You can play around with different things. The 2nd page also has `numnapkins`, `ticket` and `coupon` values which can be modified too.

You could do this if you accidentally picked the wrong character as your driver (set `didcreatewaiter` to 0). It does leave the previous worker's outfits though, in the case of Alberto/Penny.

This is also understandable if you want a "sandbox save" of sorts quickly for Freeplay mode.

Oh yes definitely, every single thing can be edited, which means a lot of use cases beyond just adding tips

There isn't much "fun." But I don't like grinding, even in a game like Papa's Freezeria lmao. Thank you!! :D

Can you edit your main worker and change them to a custom character if you started with them as a pre-set?

I think it's possible but it's going to be tedious. You'd have to make a new save with the custom character you want. Then you'd have to modify all values for workerdata (page 5 of current save) to the workerdata values of the new save. Same thing can be done for waiterdata
