I'm not complaining that the game is now paid. The fact that it's been free this long given it's popularity is astounding. Why was controller support dropped in the, now paid, steam version though. The free itch.io version has had controller support for ages. My daughter loves this game, she has been waiting months for the new update. Only to find out the day of release that it's gone paid if you want the update, again totally agree with it being paid, it's well worth it. But why remove features for people willing to now pay for the game? I am absolutely shocked.

That is a mistake on our part. We will look into it. Apologies to your daughter. It's actually a misunderstanding on our part when adding the game to Steam, turns out there is some additional set-up needed.

I miss this feature too, why the game is now paid there is no controller support?

It should not take this long to get this back again, I think I will ask for a refund

My kids watch the gameplay on YouTube. But they play games with controller support. They are too young to understand mouse and keyboard controls.
