Some people don't like going to discord it might be worth just Quoting the fix or fixes or perhaps screenshotting them for imgur, make sure you don't share user names without permission :p

Yeah the devs don't communicate much, it would help clear up misunderstandings if they did or had someone who did.

Some of the discord fixes I found,

Make sure that you aren’t using settings like enhanced sync in your AMD Adrenaline software

I think I got a solution for my personal AMD crashing issue, might help other people:

``Step 1: Type Graphics settings into Windows Search and hit Enter to open it.

Step 2: Click the Browse button to open File Explorer.

Step 3: Navigate to the default install directory – C:\Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6, and choose the EDF6 exe file to add.

Step 4: At last, click Options, tick High performance, and hit Save.``

I was crashing non stop on 104, made all the changes everyone suggested, except this one that I found today. After that I flew through 104 and 105 absolutely no issues (105 is notorious for crashes apparently) so maybe give it a try if you are helpless on AMD like me.

Addition to pre-existing. Additionally you can disable Smart Access Memory in AMD Adrenaline to further improve performance and if you have Free Sync capable display enable Adaptive Sync and force Free Sync for EDF6 in Adrenaline instead of forced vsync in dxvk.conf. To disable vsync set `dxgi.syncInterval` parameter to 0.
Here's my current dxvk.conf tested on 6700XT and 7900GRE with FreeSync and SAM off(no crashes offline/online HARDEST)

> dxgi.syncInterval = 0
> dxgi.numBackBuffers = 3
> dxgi.tearFree = Auto
> d3d11.enableContextLock = True

That depends, if you have both AMD GPU and CPU disable Smart Access Memory, than any kind of Adrenaline framecapping like AMD Chill or Frame Rate Target Control. I tested AFMF2 a bit and didn't encounter any crashes, but your mileage may vary.

Hello if u have an AMD settings similar to me and your game keep crashing.

Set **-dx12** as launch option *steam,
Turn off **AA**
**Shadow** and **AF** in system settings OFF
AMD Adrenaline edition version **24.5.1**

Give it a try and make sure your chipset are updated.

Im on an amd setup and updating all my chipset drivers seems to have helped. Haven't crashed since, but its only been a couple of hours

I turned all the AMD stuff off except Wait for Vertical Refresh and have been playing on fullscreen. Not sure if I just got lucky or the settings mattered but that got me thru 49

Just like when I tried to play god eater resurrection I had to install dxvk:

Install DXVK (a github project) in the game folder. You will need x64 dxgi.dll, d3d11.dll and a dxvk.conf file with these settings:
dxvk.gplAsyncCache=true
dxgi.maxFrameRate=60
dxvk.tearFree=false
dxgi.syncInterval=1
The gplAsyncCache line will only have effect when using the async version.
Performance tips:
Disable Smart Access Memory (SAM / ReBAR) to drastically improve frame-rate stability.
Cap the game to 60fps to improve load times.
