lol you are not a fan lol
Can you imagine the specs that this game would require if it did have cutting edge graphics? We are looking at hundreds of enemies and possibly around a thousand particle effects going on all at once in some missions. The graphic level the games uses is basically the main reason it can do all of that a still run smooth without needing top of the line hardware.
Besides, this series has always favored gameplay fun over high end visuals.
Sandlot blew their entire budget hiring vtubers to advertise
They don't focus heavily on graphics no, it's a small team that doesn't bankroll sales either, the graphics have bin improved but not it doesn't have sweat beads or grass blades that is also the trade off for literally 100s of enemies spawning, and 1000s of particles effects, webs, acid spews, bullets flying in utter chaos across the screen. If it looked like HD2 it would require a NASA PC to do what it currently does rofl
Nobody needs it to look like red dead on ultra. But asset flipping and barely changing any aspects of the engine to give arguably a very mediocre product im surprised some of you could find things to die on a hill for. Then again people like yourselves bought this at full price.
Ants, frogs and plenty of EDF 5 enemies have the same animations and decals when it comes to blood and damage. Map designs are horrendous as always and half your unlocks are pointless. Yet you guys would eat up some bonus content that deploys anime lolis as decoys for 30 bucks.
You would think the developers would spend the time to refine their engine to allow for a new and improved EDF experience but instead you get recycled EDF 5. This game feels like a Nexus Mod update.
