Lootmaster mod for EDF6 (UPDATE)

The Lootmaster mod is now available for EDF6!

The mod collects all crates still left on the ground, when the mission ends.
The process is now completely automatic, unlike in the alpha where a vehicle was required. Here you can see it in action:

Lootmaster can be played online, but all players are required to have it installed.
Vanilla players cannot join modded servers, so please set your server to private.

To install Lootmaster, extract its zip archive in the EDF6 folder, located in:
"Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Earth Defence Force 6"
When installed correctly, the installation folder should look like in the screenshot below.

The mod does not require creating a new savegame.

are you sure you cant play with randoms. Just played a game with someone having it and was working fine i dont even have this mod didnt know you could have this

You know... my friend said he would install it forgot to and we did lol then we told him and he was like what? So it does appear to work lol

It was working great for me and my friends, but I then played on the Deck, which didn't have the mod and now I can't seem to play online with anyone on the PC. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling both the game & mod on the PC. Just doing the same on the Deck. Anyone else have this issue or have any suggestions?

I don't have a Steam Deck, so the best I can do is collecting what others report me:

To run the mod on the Steam Deck, add this line in the launch options (form Desktop Mode, Library, Properties, General):
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm.dll=n,b" %command%

If it still doesn't work, try forcing the game to run on different Proton versions: like Proton Experimental, or Proton 9.0-2.

There is a Cheat Engine Autoloot that only grabs armor and weapon crates. It helps considering the <128 crate limit and some maps will drop a couple times that and not spawn more crates until you hoover the first aids.

The loot master mod increases the crate limit, idk what the cap is but it's higher so it's more forgiving if you can't keep up.

why go through a whole process to install a mod for the game when you can use a cheat engine table and not have to modify anything permanently? Not to mention you dont need everyone to have it to play. Too much work for too little functionality.

You don't need everyone to have it for simple modsike this either funny enough lol I know we tested it. It's recommended though.

Past that it's drag and drop into the game no external program needed and cheat engine a lot of people don't like on their machine, it is auto detected and flag by a lot of anti cheat as well. I have literally in the past had to uninstall it because it's mere existence on my machine was an issue to some games.

Turn up your graphics if you can’t see the medkits from miles away. Don’t need the green dots on the radar to see those

What’s being modified permanently? Literally no file in the game’s directory is touched, just files added to directory
