they will use any accounts you have that have auto login on there platform to make a new account. mostly because EGS target demographic is children via fornite.

Chief, they launched the game without any warning whatsoever. Even if we're not getting into "EGS is tencent's favorite data scraper' territory, it's shady as hell and is reminiscent of Disney using bundled accounts with phone services to pretend their Didney+ numbers aren't in the process of a slow motion train wreck. No matter how you cut it, it's a screw up that should have been caught prior. Especially in the light of Helldivers 2's garbage fire smoldering nearby.
