EOS fails to install

I continuously get the error of:
INSTALL FAILED
The installation is corrupt. Please contact support.
Error Code:EOS-SU-IH-BPS-IS-BV02

Support just says: This error is caused when your computer is unable to locate a file or the file is invalid.

I have uninstalled the game 4 times so far and tried to do a fresh install each time. I have updated all my drivers. If I close the error window I get a white screen that says the program was not installed properly and then it just stays open in Steam Library until I hit stop. I have over an hour of "played time" without ever opening the game.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Have you tried uninstalling Epic Online Services? I remember old installations of Easy Anti Cheat corrupting newer versions trying to install / update.

i had the same problem. i just refunded.

Love epic breaking a game which i bought and wasnt told it required epic.
