I was only looking in the settings in game, not on the main menu. Oops. My bad.
Yeah and I hardly see a big improvement even though it says its rendering at 165fps. It also crashes after a few minutes for me. Oh well.
There was this issue before in 4.1 and running it in borderless window mode fixed that for me. But that has not really helped on this one.
Wow, thanks a lot ! I didn't see this setting !
It's working now
Then there's the whole matter of the game not running good enough on any current hardware to actually make use of the heightened framerate cap, who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about high framerate when your 1% low are gonna be below 60 anyways
Just make sure to run the game in window mode. It’s required and it will change to borderless what you can’t normally do.
Also make sure it doesn’t use integrated GPU as it’s not fast enough and will only lower the performance.
At 0x119E765, replace 6 bytes with 90 90 90 90 90 90. At 0x119E774, replace 2 bytes with 90 90. This uncaps the framerate, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable issues. I'd recommend forcing off any vsync and setting your own framerate cap in your GPU control panel; I have an FPS cap set to 72.
