Anyone worked out how to uncap FPS yet?

Only thing really pissing me off is the 60fps cap.

It's sadly not gonna happen, nobody was able to do it for previous games so there is zero chances someone mod or hack the game to give us unlocked framerate. A pity really because the game would feel so much better to play.

Probably never going to happen. If I remember right it is built into the game mechanics so changing it will break the game, I do believe dark souls used to be like this back in the day but I may be mistaken.

You can with the previous games using the unreal unlocker utility, uncap fps, edit screen ratios and a lot more, unfortunately it doesn't work with the new versions of unreal and the creator charges $5 through pateron for the new version of the tool and call me stingy but I'm not going to give him that to test it and see if it works here.

The only EDF game that use Unreal Engine is Iron Rain and you don't even need UUU to get unlocked frame rate. All the other EDF games including EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6 doesn't use Unreal Engine so what you are saying is complete BS.

I used it for iron rain, played the other games unlocked too but might have used a hex editor for those.. its been a while,will work on this one more when I've got time.

I beat the Elden Ring DLC with it active, the input lag isn't too noticeable

You are right about competitive FPS games like CS or Valorant but here, in a PvE game, I don't think, it will impact it very much, I will give it a try tonight.
Like, a lot of players use this for Elden Ring and they didn't have any problems and those Souls games require a high timing against bosses compared to EDF where you will move constantly.

Same, I have black screen no matter what. The game doesn't have an option to run borderless windowed which seems to be the requirement for Lossless Scaling to work.

It does have borderless window mode in screen settings option. for settings it's very dependant on your own hardware so you will have to tinker with some settings.
