Crossplay

Heya!
Long time EDF fan.
I'm wondering if this game is crossplay between playstation 4 and 5, and PC.

Can Ps5 and ps4 connect together, and can PC and both playstations group together?

My friend group has combos of all these things, so we must determine what platform(s) to make the purchase on.
If anyone has good info it would be greatly appreciated. TY

There most likely won't be Cross play, with PC,
not sure about PS4 and PS5 though, seems like it should but that info should maybe be online otherwise

The PC version is nothing like the console version and rightfully so, so no, no they likely will not be able to crossplay.

I have officially confirmed a ps4, a ps4 pro, and a ps5 playing together 3 player.
I'll see if any friends get it for PC. I'll update if I find out more.

Short answer is we don't officially know, and won't for another 5 hours, but it's entirely possible. Epic Online Services is designed to allow it, and the only way it won't is if D3 decides it won't. I can guarantee you that the PC version of the game would have a much longer lifespan if they just allowed it.

Even if PC can't comingle with Playstation, I would be quite surprised indeed if Steam users and Epic users don't share their multiplayer space. That would be a disaster for Epic in particular.

I will also note that if D3 allows Steam and Epic to comingle, that is proof that they could have just allowed crossplay on all platforms and maliciously elected not to. The excuse for not allowing the West to share multiplayer with Japan on Playstation is that they have different DLC schedules due to launching on different dates. That doesn't apply to the Western release as a whole (PC and Playstation together) because they share the same release date, meaning there's no excuse.
