EDF 6 missions packs are much better than 5's. Not only do they have voice acted story (EDF 5's had no voice acting) but there are more missions than EDF 5's packs too.
It is a shame that the DLC did not unlock the ability to get higher level versions of it.
dlc 1. Mission pack 1: Lost Days. taking place in-between 5 and 6. adds a small story about 15 missions, 70 new weapons/vehicles/support items, and new enemies
dlc 2. Mission pack 2: Visions of Malice. takes place in a giant simulation made by the Strategic Intelligence Department and run by the A.I. Maris (who may or may not have gone rouge). Has about 30 missions, new weapons, and new enemies
for the mission packs your probably only going to see the new weapons if you do the missions on inferno difficulty,
as for other dlc probably the usual glut of dlc weapons and vehicles that are essentially skins and inferior versions of what your would get normally
