Is internet connection required to play?

I'm probably getting a notebook gaming soon, I also wanted to get this game. Do I need internet to play or can be played in offline mode?

You can play offline but is kind of a free roam with no stats nor progress. Still, even online most of rhe game is single player except for mass races wich are a blast and several other events. Online allows to to.record and.keep progress earning stars, game credits, equipment and skins as well as unlocking.new events

Unforrunatelly games today are too dependent on online resources even for saving progress

You can not Play this game offline. You need internet to connect to ubisoft connect to be able to play. Also, there are no achievements in the game. Have fun, and be safe!!

ubisoft made a big mistake making this game online only when the core of the game could have been completely offline. i like the game but this 'design choice' is beyond silly.
