Hows the Keyboard and mouse support for this?

I was in on the beta before launch and got to play but the controls for KB/Mouse were pretty awful. Of course I got the fanboys screaming "ITS MADE FOR CONTROLLER REEEEEEE!!!" and that maybe the prime, but it had KB/Mouse support in bindings, but it was more of a after thought. I think my biggest gripe was that the camera didnt follow you auto and you had to use the mouse for cam while using KB for steering, tricks, etc... to me, it shouldve just been the cam following you auto at all times....
So I wonder, did they fix this or is it still poop for KB/mouse?

i found controller really clunky but its really smooth for mouse and keyboard, you gotta rebind a lot tho

not sure what u meant but if u talking about auto camera centering yes its there and yes its frustating the hell out on me

mouse camera dont need auto centering or let the player decide
i so much wish i can disable this auto camera centering it blocks so much to look arround

I would say Im onboard with that, but doing downhill racing its almost needed. that, or tie the camera and bike, etc control to mouse movement...
Ive played a bit and the cam is better but it lags so bad to get back to center it causes me to steer improperly at times. I want a quick robust cam right behind my character and follows every left right up and down movement. Much like the old school BMX games, etc... the cam is still sluggish.

yea they can be nice and add some auto camera option on / off + sesitivity
every player is different we must be able to adjust to our likes

Default KB+M keybindings are horrible. They put lot of keys to the right side of keyboard (arrows and right shift), LOL most people use their right hand on the mouse.

Has somebody found good KB+M settings?

KB+M would be the best option for casual free roaming and looking around the map but doing tricks with kb+m is kinda hard.

How do you get the cam to follow your avatar? When I first bought this (refunded after binding problem) I wanted to steer left/right with A and D and I wanted the cam to follow that movement automatically but I had to use the mouse to control the cam left and right AND use A and D to steer left and right. It was a mess and I couldnt get it to do that, like in most games... That was the biggest problem for me. I just wanted the cam to auto follow which direction I turned or faced without having to use the mouse to do so... does that make sense?

ERM how do u even do tricks I just got it on keyboard and the have are crap can someone tell me the trick controls?

i believe it was arrow keys doing tricks and A S W D moving character

but u must adjust each vehicle manualy in the remapping takes time is not easy

keyboard can not even enjoy slow driving aka cruise control its really lame

I take it they still have never fixed the issue with movement for M/KB? Ubisoft is def going under as I see it. I have had plenty of driving games in the past that follow the same pattern for steering and cam movements and this has been the first game that just screwed that all up... Was hoping to pick this title up once they used a more common and reliable scheme, but that doesnt seem to be the case. They probably spent more time making sure DEI was top priority instead...
