WAD extraction, for Mac
So I bought Final Doom, and am using a Mac, but I use a sourceport for playing Doom (I get the WADs from the discs but I didn't feel like buying the disc for FD). The game downloaded but I can't seem to find where the WADs are. Looked in Application Support> Steam and they weren't there either. Was wondering if there was some other way to get the WADs so I can play with the source port or if I have to redownload it. I've read about using Boot Camp to download it on Windows but I don't have the discs required to do so. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Run a search for *.WAD, right 'right clicking' and checking if you can open what appears to be a file as a folder to browse within it for WAD files. (Mac OS X can be a bit weird like this at times).

Just downloaded this on a friend's Windows. The WADs didn't appear in my Mac, but I downloaded the game using their computer and the WADs show up. So it looks like the game didn't download after all because of the OS. Well, thanks for the help, mate! :)

Did it run under Mac OS X "without" the WAD though?
