You are the first to realize what happend here. When I saw how much people seemed to like the first demo I decided to try to make the best out of it. That's also why I chose my publisher. I had other interesting offers, but HH were the only ones not wanting to release as early as possible, but as best as possible.
And I'm so happy I did that. The game is in such a good state right now, everything seems to come together really well.
So guys whenever you are sad about release dates or delays, remember what it means in return: You get more or better stuff.
The only thing that I would recommend as feedback, is possibly quarterly updates on potential release dates simply based on the the last release date given was back in June July 2004 for Q1 2025 (which is 5 weeks out if you are to meet that still). I am unsure if that is still the goal or not. See the last news post I can find on the SFK Steam Store Page:
