permanent non-destroyable buildings - forester problem
I'm having so much fun
but I've put a woodcutter in a spot where the forester can reach only one place where to plant a tree. One tree planted, forester becomes idle. Because I didn't understand what "wild grass" means and a ton of trees spawned initially near the closest plot to the castle, so that's where I put the woodcutter.
now I don't have much of a problem with buildings being permanent per run, but this specific consequence seems kinda silly.

Don't worry, this is a rogulike, aka you are supposed to make mistakes and learn from them.
The fact that you cannot destroy buildings is one of the challenges, since it forces you to choose between technology paths eg. you either build gold smelting or bread production since you won't have space for both for a very long time.
And you can disable the special chars (in this case the treeplanter), so they do not use up workers.
