basement?

Hi super new here but im having a hard time figuring out how to get to the basement to free a prisoner...Can someone tell me how i get down there?

Space bar or Middle mouse button changes camera between basement and tavern floor. Press space bar then click where you want to move to and she will go down to the basement. There are 2 levels to basement you can move camera up and down like you do for tavern and bedroom levels.

Exactly how Willow Rivers says. Once you there, go to the prisoner - avoid the debris on the floor - and click on the prisoner to free her.

You can only free her when the Vampire Master is sleeping. If you step on the debris, the Vampire will wake up.
