Has anyone unlocked level 1 company?

It's a grind. So far it seems like only Vilnius-Riga and Tbilisi-Baku are the only profitable level 0 routes, and even fully upgraded the supported amount of passengers at those airports is incredibly limited. Progression is.... rough. Any tips? I must be missing something.

Not me - halfway. I am waiting to see if there is a year bug before continuing. there seems no tickover for the year, so aircraft don't seem to change becoming 'newer' or 'older'. I may be wrong, but I don't want to do another year play through without knowing my plans are getting older and that newer planes are available.

Hmmm I can't be certain, but I have a feeling that planes don't age in this game. It's permanently the same year. Have you found any other profitable routes than the ones already mentioned?

So new aircraft will always be new, and won't ever need replacing. No no other routes have jumped out at me. Only smaller 1-5 pax. Can buy some class 1 aircraft though and upgrade the airport to handle them?

Its simple.

Step 1: On the right check only Level 0 airports and airplanes.

Step 2: Connect every single airport to your network

Step 3: Ask for support funds from airport panel

This way you make it to level 1 in less than 30 minutes and when you do, 3 level 1 airplanes will cover all of your expenses of level 0 ones.

Still can't access level 1 airports until your company is level 1.

Ah makes sense, I was always shooting for level 1 planes on the airports with good pax transfer capability. I'll focus lower level, unfortunately this method means losing a lot of the big bonuses for passenger levels since a lot of those connections established will never support the # of passengers necessary. Really need to hook those 0 airports in with their common destinations which are 1+.

Yeah this did the trick. Also focusing airport clusters to a single airport instead of all to each other. So simple I feel silly.

Ah ok, so not all the effects are on then. With them all on, it isn't way faster it seems to me ;)

Yes, the new "Normal" is much easier to get to lvl 1 now. Didn't appear to carry over on old saves. Also just learning a bit more about the game helps, seeing where passengers are trying to transfer to helps a lot. Still learning the strategy aspect, with feeder airports etc. which gets challenging every time a new lvl is unlocked. Changes things up.

i have level 2 almost 3, my way is to make money with the 2 routes you said than earn about 60 million company assets. use the maximum support you can on profitable routes.

when you reached 50-60 million you start leasing cheap planes. when you have 60 million or more you quickly connect as much city's as possible in europe. this should create enough passengers to get past the barrier. When you level up quickly pause the game because you can easily level down again. when paused connect europe fully except iceland. this will ensure you will stay level 1 minimum. the barrier after that is smaller

For the life of me, I can't seem to make this work. I have made progress where airports are gaining popularity. But I just really can't get past LEVEL 0 due to low passenger traffic. It's been 6 days since purchase and I'm stuck. Would anyone care to specifically explain it atep by step? I've dome everything above to only make small progress and I have played over 6 hours per day. It's unreal.
