I look everyday! Waiting for another patch with some new goodies. Been playing the game nonstop for a while lol

I don't have expectations for the other stuff. I haven't been following these RoTK games as much lately to know how 14 13 and so on and their PK or whatever they call expansions in this game.

All I know is this is a remake, thinking it was a flop, mixed reviews on a game, a remake from the original that was very positive? Thats a flop to me. Games different than the original and it wasn't perceived equal to or better than the original.

I'm thinking they not wasting their time and spending resources on the next RoTK or other game.

I sure would like to see more. But think it would take a lot of effort. AI balancing and what not that takes effort. Especially when there is a lot of things to do. Also adding new stuff to the game to make it more RPG friendly that takes effort too.

It's not like they can just move officers around and make a lady power map gameplay. Thats easy thats already you just change the rulers and what not. Was expecting them to make people have to buy it but I see why they did not, thinking they giving back for this game not being successful as it should have been.

ROTK8 is one of the best, it should have not flopped it should have been easy positive reviews.

I'm honestly waiting for the next RoTK game, 15? I prefer the original rotk8 over this game, this remake is like them trying to instill a different vision onto the original, and that newer vision is worse than the original games vision. But I will probably continue with this one over the original because its in my steam and it has updated roster and is NEW just like WWE games, the late 2010s and 2020s WWE games all bad, but its just updated roster is why I play.

I get ya, but as an older guy, I havent played a game this religiously in forever and Im dying for more. I dont want them to abandon it, itd break my heart! lol.

yeah, i hope they add a item edit function soon so we don't need to spend time visit around the shops for precious item. :)

I'm just hoping for more events to round out the historical tour, i.e. Both Battles of Hefei, Zhang Fei Assassinated, Battle of Yiling and Liu Bei's Death, Battle of Jieting, Wuzhang Plains Battle, the Gaoping Tombs Coup, Battle of Dongxing, Deng Ai crosses Yinping, etc.

Right now all of the historical events just cut off entirely after the Chu Shi Biao in 227AD.

Its like Quake1. I want a new quake but with Quake1 vibes Quake 1 theme and what not.
Quake Champions is nothing like Quake1 its like 3, they already did 3 remake like with Live, then they do another remake of Quake3 same kinda vibe.

This ROTK8 remake this is new era modified RoTK8 not no remake. But since they label it as remake pretty much can be assumed they not going to build upon it, unlike if it was RoTK15, then they'd have reasons keep it going.

Since its 8remake, they working on the next one, well 8 remake is done, lets look away at 8remake and back to 15 or whatever.

I haven't really played the latest RoTKs, once you've had enough of the new and its same vibe over and over, and not good, I have interest in the next one. Actually somewhat interest since they got me to come back to this series even though it was not as expected (not good) in terms of quality game.

It's like Dynasty Warriors 2, 3, 4 major changes in somewhat good direction, I looked forward to the next one, also the RoTK 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 I looked forward to the next. But these new RoTKs is nothing, money grabs or something low effort.

It can be era thing, those RoTKs those Dynasty Warriors both in PS2 or early PS3 era, good times. Since then not good neither series.

yip, always treat his fellow officers poorly, especially after his sworn brother Kwan's passing. Always a no no when you treat somone poorly and leave those guys close to you, that's a dead wish.

Happens in 10 PUK as well, but only if you're NOT playing as Zhang Fei yourself. It happens about a month after Liu Bei declares his intention to attack Sun Quan in the June 221 scenario, where someone will report and say that Fei has been killed.

If you ARE Fei though you're just stuck in limbo and Bei never actually attacks Quan. :P
