Mods are they a thing
Is mods a thing in ROTK games or they don't do modding?
Thinking about these games Koei does specifically ROTK,
its usually a decent game but they just don't quite finish parts of the game or lack of substance in their modes. Like the RPG aspect of socializing, just not enough scenarios and such in them, I feel like I see the same text again and again.
With those Tales, its the sames repeating again and again. Like I beat the bandit chief, then next year comes, beat the bandit chief again, same situation happening again.

This where mods would come into play.
If these developers can't work hard, put in substance. Do more than just meeting MVP and calling it a day.
Let modders make their game better.

Good way to look how modders can impact the game, look at Starcraft look Quake, and Quake World, Teamfortress, look at Elder Scrolls games, TES construction set with Morrowind. Look at todays Grand Theft Auto game, its only relevant because of modders.
Then I haven't look at Robolx but apparently its popular, I think why is because of its modding scene. Look at the FPS game called Rust.

When they make their next ROTK game, include a construction set or something so people can do the AI logic fix it what they assume it should be, make more interactions in the RPG system and so on, make the city logic simplier or more advanced, make more things in battle to make it fun and so on. So they still playing your game, and continue to play it because its fun they did what they thought missing and rather than quit because its missing they did something about it and now playing for a lot longer.

This is where my ignorance comes in but I don't know if Koei likes people modding their games. Its sadly not a popular game in west that I have never seen an english version mod. But I do know in past titles mods have been created in Asian countries. I couldn't read them or know how to even use them but I at least heard of them creating own scenarios.

Most I have seen is portraits can download but not really a mod since that is in base game as well.
It would be a travesty for KOEI to release an additional PUK, since 8 Remake was supposed to be the original with all PUK features, but if they do what they did with 13's Prestige Expansion, then like 13, there will be a game editor that would allow you to create scenarios and scenes.

But I doubt KOEI to do anything good for its fans at this point unless you are from Asia.

Oh thats messed up.

See, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, it came with a construction set, where you can add new land, add monsters, monster logic, make your quests, pretty do anything. have a powerful weapon put at the starting area and so on.

I bought both of those expansions it came out with.

So just saying just because people can mod, doesn't mean it devalues expansions or PUK or whatever.

I really enjoyed Morrowinds lore, so expansion from the developers the added to the game lore and what not coming from them means a lot more than a really nice mod.

Also, Civ 2, Starcraft also had editor, make maps, starcraft used map settings so you could basically play an RPG type mode instead of traditional starcraft.

I bought the expansions both of those games too.
So you can exclude, people might not buy PUK or expansions from the idea of allowing community to mod with an editor and so on.

It makes games a lot better.
There is a reason why 1990s 2000s games were really good.

I mention construction set, because you can add logic, and it had KOS meter, and so on.
A lot of people the say AI still is no good in this game, this where a mod would be very very useful.

This company, like most big Japanese companies, hates mods, modders, and modding. Expect no support for those.

Oh, and they also do not care at all about English players, or player feedback in general. When a western company does not care about its consumers they will at least have the courtesy to pretend like they care by having someone reply copy paste corpo speak on this forum, but these JP company? Not even.

Found out Civilization 5 has 11,000 mods. Its over 10+ years there is 2 newer games of it out, yet still 20,000 active players at anytime.

Mods are a big thing, I don't think there is any for this game right? Mod's are what keeps games designed for longevity stay worthwhile fun to play years and years later.

Almost all games in the RTK series are hard to mod (deliberately?), with the exception of RTK11. If you like RTK11, go to its discussion room to see some of the translated mods.
