If you are playing this game to "win", this game will probably provide you very bland and shallow gameplay as a ruler, or incredible amount of frustration as an officer.
However, if you go with the flow with the way game world unfolds, and just go with your own head cannon of the life of your character, then there's very few RPGs that can match the amount of different role playing you can do. Losing means nothing in this game, because usually you get recruited by enemy faction.
I hope people play the game with less of winning mindset, but role-playing mindset of living life in 3 kingdom time period. It will be a lot more enjoyable if you do so.
