Can I send a friend my created officer?
Is the file kept somewhere that I could just easily send it to them?

If you just want to exchange the created officers:

Ingame, go to Edit->Original Officers, select "Export Original Officer Data", and select the officers you want to share.
(NOTE: Some aspects of exported officers will be lost on export, mainly anything on the "Relations" tab. ADDITIONALLY, if you use a custom portrait, the portrait will be reset to a generic portrait in the exported data)

The data for the exported characters will be located under your Documents folder at KoeiTecmo\SAN8R\PERSONDATA\<LANG>\ (where <LANG> corresponds to the language of the game - EN for English, etc.) This is where Exported characters are saved to and also where you need to put any exported characters you wish to load into RTK8R.

If you need to keep the Relations tab's contents, that will need to be documented separately and added back in after the characters are imported.
Additionally, if a character has a custom portrait (added via the Officer CG Edit Tool), you will need to ensure the image files that were imported into that tool are also shared so that the Recipient can add the portraits and then reassociate them with the imported officers.

Well the files might character ID's labeled something like 0x4DB....etc in folder 0002. I'm not sure, just poking around to see what might be what.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
