I never really had an issue with playing on console, but PC was superior for sure.
Based on the store page, it looks like it has partial controller support. I say get it for PC and use Steam app on your TV. Graphically this game should offer nothing special, and since there's no need to quick reaction time on this game, You can get the best of the both world by getting it on PC, and running the game on streaming mode on your TV
It was great.
Was 14 mouse UX just not up to snuff?
Playing that with a controller didn't feel especially cumbersome. The times were I did feel bogged down were sending armies over rough terrain for slow, repetitive progress.
buddy boy u are in luck 8 was a masterpiece when it was released back in the day. i lost count on how much i played alone and with friends.
there is no wrong way to play any of the games as long as you are comfortable with it and i highly recommend 8 on a control. i plan to play it on pc and ps5. (bought both versions)
It's not the mouse and more how many times you'd have to use it when you shouldn't. Many of the actions should have been faster and more direct by default, and the mouse would make it even easier. I felt that the mouse advantages, because of the game design, would have made the controller almost as competent. But maybe not.
