Best officer play RoTK?
I'm new and want to know if this would be the best starting point for me as some one who is looking for a officer play title. i love romance of the three kingdoms in general and read books several times and played all dynasty warriors to date. so if you more experience gamer's could point me at what would be best for a officer play game id appreciate it.

Xu Huang, Lu Meng, or Zhao Yun, depending on what faction you like.

Ma Su / First northern expedition imagine you are capable and help Zhuge Liang win Chang An and restore Han dynasty

If you want the FULL EXPERIENCE, there's only one champion of the officer games, and that's Liu Shan. The only one better is to create your own..subpar..officer and make waves in the ancient Chinese world.

I personally think picking the character you like is the best option of all, if anything building them up is where it's fun

They're remastering VIII, so I would have to say that anything is available to you. My personal favorite is creating a new character with middling stats and planting him anywhere. If you learn healing, you can literally travel as a Mystic, healing people and gaining fame and money. You can also pick a clan and climb the ranks. You can start out as a ruler and, along with controlling your own actions, give orders to others. It will be massive. It will be glorious. I remember games that I took months to finish.

I'd recommend Zhang Liao.

Great stats/skills in almost every installment, and he is tied directly into several forces and plots. He probably has several officers with special bonds (Guan Yu, Cao Cao, Lian Di, and Yue Jin just thinking of a few).

I see myself playing Zhang Liao quite alot, strong but not OP and in general is a great character.

Y'all he's not asking for the best officer to play as, he's asking what the best ROTK game for officer play is, as opposed to the ruler play entries.

OP, it's probably going to come down to either this or XIII with the expansion. There aren't a whole lot of choices that are both 1. in English and 2. available on PC. My advice would be to wait a bit and see how VIII Remake turns out. If the general community consensus is that it's better than XIII, get it. Otherwise, look into XIII with the expansion.

True, I kind of just joined the bandwagon. I heard 13 and 8 are the best as well.

Hes asking the best one for officer gameplay, so in that regard yes.
