How to install skins and stuff to steam version?

I've read a tutorial on how to do this for normal TM but it's slightly confusing, and it seems that the steam version uses a different directory for its files.

Tutorial says to paste the full zip file to-

- CanyonCar Skin -> [Personalfiles]/Skins/Vehicles/CanyonCar/

But with the steam version the closest thing I can find is

Steam/Steamapps/common/ManiaPlanet_TMStadium/packs)TMStadium_Skins/Skins/models/stadiumCar

I know obviously I'm looking for the stadium files I'm my example but I get the same result when looking for the canyon or storm files.

Any tips or should I just wait for workshop?

My documents/maniaplanet/Skins/models/canyoncar for vehicles for windows 7 at least.

Thanks i figured it out in the end :)

There is also a common car folder in that directory which allows you use skins in both games, its very handy :)

Also just another tip make sure you go to http://www.maniapark.com/index.php for cars as their is another site for the older trackmania and those cars wont work or at least I could not get them to work.

CanyonCar is trackmania 2 canyon. The stadiumcar folder you found is for stadium
