does this work on quest 2?

im planning on buying the game but it is not on the quest 2 shop however i have a cord to connect the game up to it does anyone know if this works?

If your PC can run it, yes. It lists Quest 2 as a compatible device on the main store page

you need a few things to get the game working on your headset

first you need to ensure your computer works is VR ready, there are a few VR ready checkers you can find on the internet.

Secondly, you need the Quest link app installed on your computer (I believe you can get it if you type in oculus app pc on google)

Thirdly, you need a USBC to either USB 3.0 or USBC cable, you need to make sure that its a fast one, the official one is pricey but works really well.

Last of all, the game WILL come to quest (I think) just at a later date.

The game runs perfectly fine for me, just make sure you can complete all the steps before you buy it here.

Ya, my wifi router isn't anything special, but it's like 3 feet away from me when I play so it's great.

Mine is on the other side of the place I live so sadly I get the worst signal out of anyone here haha, we have a booster but that isnt as fast as being wired into ethernet or something, im so glad cables exist otherwise I would not be able to play the game haha.

I have a good PC and quest 2 with offical cable and when I run the game its so laggy I can't even do anything and my headset heats up and my PC gets slow why does this happens?

It could be your PC isn't strong enough to run the game, I don't know why your headset is heating up though, maybe make sure your cable isn't damaged? Have you run VR games off of your PC before?

Mine goes perfectly, but sometimes freezes. I'm using a Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop, opening the game from SteamVR.

100%, after jumping through all the dev hoops suggestions, it works amazingly. Quest 2, airlink, opening the game from SteamVR. Just make sure you grab one of the controller presets that fixes the teleport issues.
