Steam VR cross gaming

Okay, So i want to buy the FNaF VR games while this winter sale is going on, But i won’t be getting a VR headset until after i buy the games? (I’m gonna be buying the Meta quest 3s) And i wanna know, If i buy these games on steam for Pc will i be able to access and play them on the headset or will i have to buy them again on the Meta Quest? Because if i have to buy them again then i won’t buy them on Pc, but i can’t find a direct answer so i hope someone on here can help me?

You can play SteamVR games on the Quest 3 but you will be required to play them from your PC with link. If you want the version that runs on the Quest and doesn't need a PC you will have to buy the Quest Store version.

What is link exactly? Is it just linking my PC to the headset or is it something else i would need?
