what are your thoughts about it after seeing the trailer.

nvm, it was just a small update to tease us with Secret of the Mimic

Probably takes place between the time it was found at the factory and when it was captured and sent to the pizzaplex. I think this is the only time where its whereabouts are unknown.

Maybe it disappeared around 1979, when Fredbear's Family Diner was established (the number can be seen for one frame in the trailer). It could be Henry's creation, assuming Edwin from Tales from the Pizzaplex is Henry's stand-in for that allegory. We could also find out if it knew William Afton and the Spring Bonnie costume that Afton wore (it could explain why Glitchtrap, a Mimic1 creation, looks like a normal fursuit mascot and not the springlock exoskeleton that we a know and remember).
