Very few people playing. Its a very simple RTS with nice graphics. RTS players wan't something with more depth than rock/paper/scissors (and top-down) and those who wanted an ant game wanted an actual ant simulator. This is a mix a lot of people really didn't want.
The campaign is fine, its just not worth $40.
Probably because multiplayer doesn't work for half the playerbase and the devs don't seem to care to fix that.
have enough experience to know that if youre gonna play multiplayer you gotta get while the gettings good at the start.
thats why I buy games like this day 1 instead of waiting for sale or anything
We are truly sorry some of you have had such an issue.
Just to clarify we do care and we are committed to fix the game.
To give you some more insight on the situation, this connection issue is a rare issue that can come and go (some players have confirmed the issue disappeared on its own) and we are having issues pinpointing where it's coming from.
While it is a rare issue we are committed to investigate it and fix it as soon as we can.
Also, for those who want to play multiplayer we have an active community playing and talking daily about PvP on our Discord (https://discord.gg/empireants)
Man you cannot imagine how much that is true, at least to me.
I tried the demo, but while i have spent a hundred hours on Empires of the Undergrowth, The lack of depth and it not being a simulator at all, I just cannot justify buying this game s:
The target audience really feels like it's either;
-For kids
-Or for people that want an experience coming from a novel and the game following the novel.
It doesn't feel like it tries to appeal to what fans of the genre want as gameplay for some reason, but only... the story ?
PLEASE PLEASE ADD CO-OP. I want to play this with my buddy but I don't want to have to fight him to do that
