No not just opening with toxic spores - having multiple charges ready to go at the start of the game. Spend 20 food to start with it? Sure. Having enough food and wood to go to T2 without having more than one nest and then upgrading it immediately within 3 minutes to have somehow 4 charges (should only be 3 at max even if somehow you managed those materials) in under 4 minutes? No. Not even a cooldown time between it.
deleting the upgrade and buying again
when you do that or even when you upgrade the charges are refilled
yeah its just 20 food to buy the upgrade over and over.
its definitely an oversight from the devs they gotta patch it.
What maps did this happen?
Steam has built in recording now. You could record stuff like this so we can see who those players are
I only had suspicions until the Sands level where you start with one nest and its a competitive layout. Then I started to pay attention to this. If I get the same people, I'll record if I can or at least remember to check the heatmap afterward. It's easy enough to avoid them until more and more people start cheating.
First of all, let me apologize for the inconvenience caused by this situation.
We're following this thread carefully and investigating all potential cheating. We haven't recorded anything yet, but are interested if you can record someone doing such a thing.
That being said, we have found a player expert at abusing a game mechanic and this will soon be patched to ensure that such behavior is not rewarded anymore. (But from our observations he was not cheating, just overusing a game mechanic that was not intended to be used this way.)
Also, please feel free to report such players in the game, If he is sufficiently reported he will get banned.
Thank you all for your reports, We take these very seriously and keep on looking into the game data to find any potential ways of cheating and how to counter these. Let's keep this a fun, fair and engaging PvP experience.
Our latest Patch prevent sit by making powers spawn with their cooldowns at 0% filled instant of 100% as they used too. So what looked like an infinite power cheat should not exist anymore.
However, if you do see it again (so a power used more than 3 times in a row in less than 3 minutes) please make a video and share it with us for us to investigate this.
Thank you for your time and help everyone!
