Flood mission

This has to be one of the worse designed missions that I have played in a long time. You are sent to save some ants. When you get there you have this horrible meter that directs you in the general direction or where the ant is. When you get close, it stops directing you. Then you have to walk randomly around hunting for the ant.

To make it even worse the ants blend in with the scenery so you can't even see them half the time. It's making me not want to play the game anymore.

Either fix it so the ants glow or stand out from the scenery or fix the damn radar so it doesn't stop working when you get near an ant.

I have the same feelings. I bought this game for the strategic aspect, not for an adventure with poor controls or pixel-hunting ants in the middle of the forest. It’s a shame that more than 2 hours have passed, and now I can’t get a refund.

You have until you've found 2 ants to basically scout out as much of the map as you wanted.
I went around looking for the ants after learning this, and once I had found enough, just speedran getting them. There also seems to be more ants than what you need, thankfully, since I still had a few I knew were around when I won.

The system feels a bit wonky, but it's honestly not that bad once you get used to how it works, since it's proximity based once the bar thingy shows up. Using the up close camera helps a lot too.
