F1® Manager 2023

what I would like in F1 manager 2024
Let's start by saying that the race replay mode is a very nice system but quietly ignored by some players, others not, it would be an excellent thing from my point of view not to introduce it in the following year and focus much more on the career, making it very satisfying and not having the usual copy and paste.

The first thing I would like is an improvement in qualifications, in what sense.
We see that the drivers of the team that we choose to drive as teams doing their laps and we see the various sectors and their times but the thing that cannot be seen immediately is whether their times in the various three sectors are fast or slow compared to the driver who must precede to pass in Q2 or Q3 when those last 5 minutes of qualifying are missing, it would be nice if in the following year there is a significant improvement on this thing and it is easier to understand if I have to make the driver push or we are slow and decide to let it go back in and keep the rubber.

Second thing is the development of the car I want to divide this discussion into two parts.
the first part concerns that in the current game where the development of our car is blocked during the end of the season until the start of the new season, however I realize that the AI for no reason is able to develop the car and improve further the car and we players have to redo the developments all over again, then it would be preferable to be able to assemble all the developments of each part of the car at the end of the season to be able to assemble for the following year.

second part concerns one thing that I would like to have in the following year of F1 manager 2024 the possibility of modeling the car by taking the car designs of the various components that they have developed in the 2022, 2023 season and the current season (if possible in 2024) the various versions A, B and C (this is how the various commentators define the various models of the cars updated during the season) only as aesthetics to make the appearance of the car variable, while the statistics are not influenced by the appearance but is to vary a the visual aspect of the various cars between one season to another and also being able to change the livery of the car, changing the appearance a little and not remaining with the same livery for 10 seasons in a row.

The third thing I would like is linked to a slightly incorrect concept of tire wear, many of us players are used to racing with the various car games in which tire wear starts much earlier than 30% but rather at 50% that slight wear of the tire while 30% there is severe wear of the tyre, where this wear has a significant impact on the race pace and the lap times increase slightly while if you have fairly heavy wear both the traction exiting the corners and the race pace increases a lot making it slow in the turns.

The other thing would be optimal if it would be appropriate to physically improve the impact of the cars in the wall and seeing the tire bending or detaching, making the accidents a little realistic both damage and visual because currently visually and physically they look like wagons armed (no offense).

Fourth thing I would like there to be two important improvements:

the first is linked to the menu of the structure when you are in your career and also in the deployment of the functioning of the board's trust parameter depending on the board, because it is not clear how your work is evaluated and the various positions of the pilots among the parameters disappointed-satisfied-happy-enthusiastic about the advice.

the second is linked to the set-up of the car because an important parameter is missing and that is the height of the car and then it would be appreciated that depending on the parameters you make the set-up of the car which currently seems to be pre-established for many grand prix being that many rely on a simulator to create the optimal set-up and this does not vary for any team but rather the type of set-up for any team remains identical and does not even vary depending on the conditions between dry and wet and this is truly a great It's a shame sincerely, it takes away a lot of variations in the various setups where a player would like to do.

The last thing I would like is a change to the calendar of the F1 season, in which if it can and may be possible to have changes in the order of the various races or sudden eliminations or substitutions of some F1 circuits in which they may or may not be placed of the calendar to be able to have fewer races or more races throughout the season and it is also possible to have changes to have both major or minor Sprint Races or major or minor ATA Weekends (as happens with Imola, Budapest and Monza as the qualifying system), to be able to vary the game and the F1 calendar a little in the various seasons to come.

I'd like F1 Manager 2024 to never be made, and instead morph into a more general motor sport management game. I'm an F1 fan, and I'd like it to still include F1, but I'm also a motorsport fan and I wish it would cover other categories like WEC, V8 Supercars, Indycar, GT, Nascar, and many others.

These days it's becoming more common for team owners to own teams in multiple categories. RB are the best example, but of course there's Zac Brown, Roger Penske, Ferrari F1 + WEC, and more. I wish we could get a game that replicates this.

I want it to have a detailed F1 Management mode, but I also want to have a detailed WEC management, and the same for other categories.

So release an overall motorsport management game with a focus on being a multi-team owner, and then release packs for each category, F1, WEC, Indy, etc. I also wish they'd just drop the whole year thing. There isn't much difference between F1 Manager 2022 and 2023, and of course this is the problem with all sports-related games. They do these stupid yearly updates that are nothing more than a roster/season update, the game itself barely changes. Sure, over time it gets better, but from one year to the next there isn't enough to justify the price tag.

I know Motorsport Manager attempted to do something like this, but the problem is it's all unlicensed. Fans have attempted to fix that through mods, but the last time I looked the tracks are still not real world. I'd pay good money for a developer that can make a true motorsport management game, that accurately reproduces real-world people/locations, and isn't obsessed with F1, where F1 is just one of many categories.

Honestly my post was a lot about giving real feedback for the game and giving further input to the developers at Frontier where they can improve the game and make the game even more variable by adding things.
Of course it would be a miracle if we had the possibility of modeling the chassis across the cars of each team from 2022 until 2024 when the game will be released and it would be a great thing, without affecting the performance of the car but making it just visual or even being able to see the calendar to overturn the various circuits with dates and also methods between Sprint weekends and ATA weekends in the various career seasons in which the circuits increase or decrease.
For the mods sincerely no thanks, if you want to have them do them on other management games and honestly they are exhausting, the mods can improve but the base does not change.

Please try to at least look at Frontier staff, I'm not asking you to respond but at least be able to read and reflect on what can be included next year, because we players are waiting for an evolution of this beautiful game

Please try to at least look at Frontier staff, I'm not asking you to respond but at least be able to read and reflect on what can be included next year, because we players are waiting for an evolution of this beautiful game

the 1 dev/mod from frontier that did respond here on steam (Steve) Is no longer working for Frontier Development so you certainly won't get any responses.
What I would like in F1 Manager 2024:
1) Driver market. Make it more alive. Right now we are still playing against... nothing. If I want this driver, I get it. If I want this engineer, I get it. And no one makes them offers when they are in my teams... Why? If I have an Alpha Tauri and we are 5th in the constructors, and Ferrari comes knocking in the door of a driver or an engineer, they should feel really tempted to leave.
2) Could we add sponsorship hiring? I would like to be able to select the different sponsors I could have on the car, and try to enhance the earnings of the team, as it happens in real life. Why not in the game?
3) Add unexpected stuff along the history. Such as new engine suppliers coming in, old racetracks coming back, changing sprint races from tracks in different seasons, new tyre manufacturers, ... Right now it is really predictable and nothing happens at all. Perhaps Toyota or Audi/Porsche could come in, suddenly engine development gets unfrozen and constructors must spend extra revenue developing it, ... Don't know...
4) Add wonderkids. Why are there no new Leclercs or Verstappens? All the young drivers that come with the years are soooo... bad... Getting a 90 rate driver is sooooo hard after 20 seasons... Why is there no 18 year old kid with a 75 rate coming up? All of them come with a 55/58 max rate. It's ridiculous... And related to this:
5) Now we can sponsor young drivers. But it's not manual. Why not? I would like to select a specific driver and sponsor their junior carrier. And since I would be able to do that, I should be able to have him/her as a third driver, while being able to send it to a F2 or F3 team in the meantime to gain more experience. And add a fee for it. If sending them to Prema in F2 will cost 500k, so be it. It should be expensive to put them in a top tier car. And you can actually see if the driver you are sponsoring is actually doing fine or not. And you should be able to sponsor more than 1 driver. Maybe up to 4, like Red Bull does.
6) Fix the rainy conditions. In the F1 manager 2022, soft rain would get the track wet within 2 or 3 laps. In F1 manager 2023 it takes waaaaaaay longer than that. Not very realistic... It only gets wet quickly with heavy rain. Realistic, yes, but soft rain should also make the track wet quickly.
7) Please, add nationalities to new generated drivers and engineers... why don't you? It's not that hard...
8) Please add at least 100 helmet designs... I cannot stand to see both drivers with the same exact helmet... What a visual joke...
9) Many times one might see a car with the DRS open stuc behind a car without DRS open... Not very realistic, is it? They will get a bit to the side, but not enough to be able to pass them, despite the obvious speed difference. Why? Drivers cannot be that retarded.

There are plenty more, but right now this is what annoys me the most...

What is the site where I can post my ideas or feedback for the game to the frontier staff usually they will have an official site.

Following announcement today by FDEV, I expect another announcement soon to say F1M24 is NOT happening.
Company is in turmoil after very poor sales of F1M & ROR
