Are There Any Women In This Game?

Hold on before you all grab pitchforks and torches.

I'm asking because I've been noticing in the replays the announcer keeps calling the driver "they," which would be fine if F1 drivers were mixed (though there aren't that many, surely they could code he/she if they really wanted to), but I don't think I've seen any women and I don't know anything about F* in real life, so I was wondering if there were any women because then why not just call every driver "he" in the replays?

Just like in first game, the newly generated drivers and staff that appear between
31. December and 1. January have a chance to be females. You can save-scum the generation process to get some good results.
They have to race 2 seasons in lower competitions tho, so IF the AI decides to hire them, the earliest you can snatch them to F1 is 4th season start.

Ah, haven't made it that far into either game, but that makes sense that it starts randomly generating drivers every year to fill in.

But that wasn't a performance because of their pace, it was just a tactical decision by their team because they kept running on rain tires. The other teams partly changed to dry tires and because the track didn't dry out as quickly as expected, it was still enough for points for FLO. That was the only exception due to the weather. Against Montoya (on rain tires) and the top she could not really keep up...

Would you say this if she weren’t a woman? She’s a very inexperienced driver in F3. Her rating seems fair at the moment.

Last year's game auto generated F2 and F3 rookies as the seasons went on and some of them were female, I'm guessing the same feature is in the 2023 game, you just got to wait a few seasons for another female rookie to pop-up if you want to have an all female line-up.

Would make for an interesting challenge at least. Can you win the championship in an Alfa Romeo with TWO female drivers? Might try it if I'm finding the game too easy again, although IRL it would take an absolute miracle.

Aye, but she had one of the most spectacular crash ever at Macao in 2018, and for this only, she deserves respect. I want her in my team.

Absolutely, go for it. Play the game you want to play. I was watching a video the other day where someone was trying to do an all-female team as much as they could and as quickly as possible, thought it was kind of a cool concept. All I was talking about there was the one person who was complaining about her current rating.

In Manager 2022, I recruited the fictional driver Hanna Frost as soon as it became possible, put her in test driver's seat, having simulator improved at max and make her drive the first session of every race for 2 seasons.

Her stats improved quite slowly but after a couple of seasons as test driver in those conditions, she had become a pretty decent driver. Nothing like Lewis or Max, but pretty decent still, and I bet that if I had played more, I could have made her become world championship material.

I promoted her driver alongside Lando Norris and even engaged another test driver lady (Helena belecjak). I also had two ladies as designers (don't remember their names).

I unsinstalled since, but I think it took me 5 or 6 seasons to win the championship with Haas (Lando Norris / Hanna Frost) with Lando WDC and Hanna finishing 6th.

It's possible, it just takes a long time.
