Now, all I can say for your problem is try this:
- It's important that you have the latest version of DirectX and graphics drivers installed!
- If you're using Windows Vista or 7, you should try disabling UAC.
- Install the latest .Net Framework 4.5 as well as Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
- Installing the latest updates for your operating system is always a good idea and can also resolve some of your issues. Same thing goes for shutting down or disabling any non-crucial applications running in the background, especially anti-virus software, as they might interfere with your games. Try it and see if it helps.
These rules goes for everyone out there that have any kind of problems with TMNT (not just the freezing). And before I finish, if your game freezes during gameplay the main cause of these issues are overclocked systems especially graphic cards, so roll back your hardware to factory settings, if that is the case.
Usually you would not have to go through all this fuss just to make the game work properly, but since we are talking about a very badly coded game unfortunately you do =/
Hope it'll help you!
Thank you very much for your fast response, I'll try to go through your recommendations!
In case it does not help, I still thank you for your attempt to sort peoples' problems concerning this game. Cheers..
I wish you a good day sir :-)
Kind regards dollmayn
As I said before to Dollslayer, I HAD plans for this game but now I don't. I don't want to waste any more of my time on that code. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but really I gave up (lost hope) after they patch the game with over a 1GB patch and I saw even more flaws in the code then before. Regarding your question, it is doable. You just need to locate the lines in the code where camera slows the time for TPKO. Once you found them, set the values to zero. It may sound easy, but it isn't. Because you'll have to go through all the files to change the code. They are all linked with each other.
Hope this helps you in a way, sorry I couldn't help you more. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
The first thing that came to my mind while reading your post is that I know when they patched the game they changed some keyboard layouts, but they didn't change the appropriate keyboard massages. I know you probably try hitting everything on your keyboard, but try hitting some combinations of keys. (We can continue to solve your problem via chat)
Other than that I'm sorry that you have this terrible experience. This is one of those games that company rushed the developers to issue the game as fast as possible and now all we have is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product. =/
This game is just OK but it could have been a masterpiece.
p.s: screw michael bay
