CAMERA FIX
Hello ninja!

As you already know the game we all love so much is quite broken. But have no fear the ultimate FIX is here! Well, for the camera at least. I took some time out of my social life (which I have none :P) to change the code and deliver you some good gameplay camera as it should have been made in the first place.

I know there are already some camera fixes files out there on the forum, but as I took a closer look into them, I saw a lot of loopholes and mistakes that my fellow ninja made. So I took matters into my own hands and made you some top notch camera fix.

I will not go into a whole detail list of what I changed but here is a short list:
- Every single line for the camera distance and rotation was checked,
- Scaled every code of the camera appropriately, as it was made by the developer it self,
- In combat zooms out further, so you can see everything and you can counter much more efficiently,
- When out of combat, camera runs back into character,
- Rotations and pitches were increased so you can be more aware of the situation around you.

In the future I plan to make more changes to the game, but for now, you'll have to suffice with this.

Hope you enjoy the new camera and the new experience you'll get with it =)

COWABUNGA !!!

Well the main reason my fix didn't help you with the freezing is because my files ONLY fix the camera problems. I was planning to make more patches to the game, but the game is so badly coded that I don't want to spend any more of my time on it. Simply put, the reward for fixing the problems would not give me the justified satisfaction.

Now, all I can say for your problem is try this:
- It's important that you have the latest version of DirectX and graphics drivers installed!
- If you're using Windows Vista or 7, you should try disabling UAC.
- Install the latest .Net Framework 4.5 as well as Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
- Installing the latest updates for your operating system is always a good idea and can also resolve some of your issues. Same thing goes for shutting down or disabling any non-crucial applications running in the background, especially anti-virus software, as they might interfere with your games. Try it and see if it helps.

These rules goes for everyone out there that have any kind of problems with TMNT (not just the freezing). And before I finish, if your game freezes during gameplay the main cause of these issues are overclocked systems especially graphic cards, so roll back your hardware to factory settings, if that is the case.

Usually you would not have to go through all this fuss just to make the game work properly, but since we are talking about a very badly coded game unfortunately you do =/

Hope it'll help you!

klorgor, seems as if your interested in this game a fair amount, and u stated u plan on future changes. I made a post awhile back, i was going thru survival mode and still am, quite a bit of fun imo, and i wanted to know if there was a way to disable the slowmotion sequences during tpko and other finishers, truthfully its enjoyable but i really wanted to test and see how it played w/o it. If you any ideas of how to disable to slow motion sequences id really appreciate it, looked thru most of the config files and made some of my own tweaks, but i didnt have any luck for this, let me know if you have any ideas

Just copy and paste the files in your game directory. If you didn't change the installation path it is usually located at: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\TMNT-OotS.

As I said before to Dollslayer, I HAD plans for this game but now I don't. I don't want to waste any more of my time on that code. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but really I gave up (lost hope) after they patch the game with over a 1GB patch and I saw even more flaws in the code then before. Regarding your question, it is doable. You just need to locate the lines in the code where camera slows the time for TPKO. Once you found them, set the values to zero. It may sound easy, but it isn't. Because you'll have to go through all the files to change the code. They are all linked with each other.

Hope this helps you in a way, sorry I couldn't help you more. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

hey klorgor, i see that u are real good at codes, i'm working on it, but i live in Brazil so i think will be hard to meet you and talk a little bit about codes, so u could teach me something, cause my working area is on suporting employers, and yours is game, and i just love it.... well but if u want add me here on steam, i could add u on face.... but enjoying my came here, i got some problem with this strange game, same of the first guy posting there, my game just stuck on first "10 combo hit" screen , it not freezes, cause on alt+tab i can see that he still running, but no matter what i press or hold, it just dont work.. no matter if i turn off tutorials too... just this screen stucks, the others dont... do u remember what to do with this ? have some patch to solve it ? thanks a lot bro =]
Hello, sorry for the late reply. I don't really know why some people have this issue. I didn't have any problems with that while I was playing this game.

The first thing that came to my mind while reading your post is that I know when they patched the game they changed some keyboard layouts, but they didn't change the appropriate keyboard massages. I know you probably try hitting everything on your keyboard, but try hitting some combinations of keys. (We can continue to solve your problem via chat)

Other than that I'm sorry that you have this terrible experience. This is one of those games that company rushed the developers to issue the game as fast as possible and now all we have is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product. =/

This game is just OK but it could have been a masterpiece.
i have no idea where to paste this, i cant even find the documents on my PC and i havent changed any installation inputs or directories =[ awh man i fail at life.......help someone if you can =] cheers
p.s: screw michael bay
I always thought alternate skins for the turtles could be cool... but this game died out. Too bad nobody can really fix the multi-player.

Great work! It's very nice seeing fellow community members contributing to fix a game that should have been doubel checked for such flaws by the actual company.

This is why I love Steam more than any other gaming site. Real friendly group. Helpful without paycheck compensation to deliver pure customer service. ;)
