Maybe I need a remote login to my computer from my phone so I can troubleshoot the game while actually taking a ♥♥♥♥. That would at least be a productive use of time.
Eric, thanks for letting me know that the driver/directx/framework reinstalls don't work. I was about to try that too. I now know not to bother. Hope someone else posts something more helpful than me and you end up getting the game running. For me, this game is over. I'm going to go dig out my SNES and play Turtles in Time.
Steam has nothing to do with it. It is just a distributor.
As for the game not loading, not sure. I have seen some fixes for others but not sure they will work here. Might be a 7 64 issue as I am running 8.1 64bit and not having any issues.
Maybe check to make sure your AV isn't interfearing with it? Another thing to try is to right click the game in Steam, go to local files and verify the integrity of the cache. Maybe something didn't get downloaded properly
