Also just bought the game and it won't start. This is why I stopped buying steam games. I can deal with paying $15 for a ♥♥♥♥ game, but when I have to spend more time figuring out how to run said ♥♥♥♥ game than I spend playing said ♥♥♥♥ game, well that is just ♥♥♥♥.

Maybe I need a remote login to my computer from my phone so I can troubleshoot the game while actually taking a ♥♥♥♥. That would at least be a productive use of time.

Eric, thanks for letting me know that the driver/directx/framework reinstalls don't work. I was about to try that too. I now know not to bother. Hope someone else posts something more helpful than me and you end up getting the game running. For me, this game is over. I'm going to go dig out my SNES and play Turtles in Time.

This game isn't working for me either. Everytime I start my computer freezes up completely. I'm running on Windows 7 64bit and just can't get it to run.

i normally play it on win7 64. By the way it uses directx9 not 11. Try to install runtime componets from here http://www.microsoft.com/ru-ru/download/details.aspx?id=34429

Steam has nothing to do with it. It is just a distributor.

As for the game not loading, not sure. I have seen some fixes for others but not sure they will work here. Might be a 7 64 issue as I am running 8.1 64bit and not having any issues.

Maybe check to make sure your AV isn't interfearing with it? Another thing to try is to right click the game in Steam, go to local files and verify the integrity of the cache. Maybe something didn't get downloaded properly

tried all of the above....no dice..this is rediculous...all of my other games work...except one..this one
I'm thinking it's specifically Dot Net Framework 4.0 for me. I wish there was a fix that works for me. Nothing works, even the fix installation does not work.

im on Windows 8, 8gb DDR3 RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7660g video card & AMD A10 accelerated 2.3ghz processor. I have no problems on this game other than the occasional invites not working. as for u win7 users, just upgrade to Win8. It's so much better than any other recent Windows OS.
